Jamii Nuts

Giant cashews that uplift communities

Rooted in Community. Grown with Purpose.

Jamii means “community” in Swahili. and that’s exactly where our story begins. We partner with women farmers in southern Tanzania to grow and harvest premium cashews that change lives at their roots. By paying fair prices, providing stable income, and creating opportunities beyond the harvest, we help farming families invest in education, health, and their communities.

Bigger. Creamier. Naturally unforgettable.

Jamii cashews are grown in the southern regions of Tanzania, where fertile soil and coastal sun help produce some of the largest cashews in the world. Hand-picked at peak ripeness, each nut is carefully processed without roasting to preserve its naturally rich, buttery flavour and smooth, creamy texture.

Farming for the Future

Behind every Jamii cashew is a woman with a story.
We work directly with smallholder women farmers across Lindi and Mtwara, two of Tanzania’s most fertile cashew-growing regions. These women are the backbone of the local economy, growing cashews with skills passed down through generations.
Our model ensures that more of the value stays in the hands of the women who grow the nuts, supporting things like school fees, farming tools, and community projects that matter most to them.
